About RDA and University of Botswana

Even though the University of Botswana has not had formal institutional links with RDA, it has had, however representatives in the RDA structures. Dr Kay Raseroka, the former university librarian and Director of Library Services served, and was followed by Dr Joyce G. Maphanyane, a senior Lecturer in Environmental Sciences. The university hosted the 2018 International Data Week, which had CODATA and RDA as key partners in advancing key mandates in research and data. This is an area/collaboration which continues to grow.
