Research data is core to this transition. Data sharing helps maximize real world impact of research, and we will support researchers to share their data and make data sharing become the norm.

Taylor & Francis and RDA

Members of our team are involved in RDA working groups focussing on areas where data intersects with publication of research. These include data sharing policies, repository guidance and groups focussed on handling specific subject based data. To encourage wider adoption of data sharing and FAIR practices we need more education but also to make the process of sharing as easy as possible for researchers, and that can best be achieved when the community works together, which is best shown through RDA groups and events.

We are keen to continue to work with RDA to pioneer new initiatives and approaches to data sharing and open data, actively contributing to RDA’s open data vision which aims to enable researchers to reuse, reproduce, cite and accredit research data across disciplines and countries.
