Ryan O'Connor

Ryan has an academic background in the humanities and social sciences; his undergraduate degree in English literature and psychology was completed at University College Cork, Ireland, followed by a Master's at the University of Edinburgh, where his research focused on reader and audience experiences of literature and drama. Ryan currently holds the position of Senior Facilitator at the RDA AISBL, working on the RDA TIGER project, starting in the role in June 2023. Before joining RDA Ryan worked at the Digital Curation Centre at the University of Edinburgh, where his time was spent on European Commission projects (including RDA Europe 4.0, FAIRsFAIR, OpenAIRE Advance, and FAIR-IMPACT) as well as on the DCC’s training and consultancy work, while previous roles in the commercial sector provided him with practical experience of data curation and analysis.
