Marcy Collinson

With a social science background in Anthropology, Marcy Collinson started her career in primatology and veterinary medicine as a technician in general practice, critical care, internal medicine, and as an anesthesiologist at one of the largest teaching hospitals in the US. She transitioned to human nursing education management, overseeing a nursing laboratory where she launched a high-fidelity manikin simulation program. Her background also includes marketing, fundraising, events, and corporate relation management in non-profit and higher education. Prior to joining the Oracle for Research Team, Marcy was a Senior Programs Manager at AWS, with experience in cloud management for Higher Education and scientific research. She now serves as the Sr. Principal Global Strategic Partnerships PM for the Oracle for Research Team, where her passion for bridging the research community to utilize technology for societal advancement and benefit can come to light.
