Since the founding of the RDA Data Usage Metrics Working Group, the community has focused on accessible ways to standardize and build open data metrics. Join to hear about the latest tools and resources from DataCite and Make Data Count to support repositories in data usage metrics and where the larger RDA community can go to support researchers in data research assessment metrics.

In his role as Director of Data Initiatives at the CCDC, Ian is responsible for establishing strategies that will make CCDC's data more readily discoverable and reusable by wider scientific communities. A specific focus is on the adoption and development of community principles, guidelines and standards to support these aims. He is an active participant in a range of global initiatives including the Research Data Alliance, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry and the InChI Trust.

Matthew leads a passionate and committed team at DataCite who provide the means to create, find, cite, connect, and use research globally. Based in Amsterdam, Matthew focusses on building DataCite into a sustainable global community. Previously Matthew was the Director of Engagement at ORCID where he played an important role in growing the community into an international-scale research effort.

Kristian is responsible for determining information architecture, user research, and design to support an intuitive user journey for all DataCite services and products. Previously, he contributed to the development and implementation of a robust technical architecture DataCite. Before he held different research positions within the MSSL and the ELIXIR Interoperability platform. Kristian has a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester
